Scope of the offer The mission will cover two main areas of intervention: 1-Analyze the national guidelines relating to the Complaints Management Mechanism (CMM) as designed in the ICCN Standard CMM Guide:
Conduct a thorough review of existing national guidelines on MGP, with particular attention to their applicability in the different contexts of conservation and protection of the rights of indigenous peoples across the country.
Identify gaps, overlaps and inconsistencies with international human rights standards, as well as with the Human Rights Due Diligence Policy (HRDDP).
If necessary, propose a revised framework adapted to the national context, incorporating lessons learned from the experience of Kahuzi-Biega National Park and other protected areas in the DRC. This framework should aim to strengthen the inclusiveness, accountability, and effectiveness of grievance management mechanisms, both at the national level and at the level of protected sites.
